Types of Therapy
Neurofeedback is a way of training the brain. The brain activity involved in thoughts, sensations, actions and emotions is detectable in the form of brainwaves (electrical impulses generated by brain activity).
During Neurofeedback sessions, one or more non-invasive electrode sensors are placed across the scalp and one to each ear, to detect these brainwaves and enable practitioners to view an individual’s brain activity and train the brain.
“Tension and Stress/trauma releasing exercises” is a body-based process that can be learned as a self help tool that invokes the body’s natural, neuro-physiological mechanism for recovering from stressful and traumatic events. This mechanism is called neurogenic tremoring.
Body Centered Therapy
Different body focused techniques that know the body holds valuable knowledge to a client’s condition as the body holds physical and emotional stress and injury that may or may not be in our conscious awareness. As a result, our bodies can have a powerful impact on how we think, feel, behave, and view ourselves and aids us on the path to healing.
MFR is an effective treatment to relax the fascia throughout the whole body, which leads to a decrease in pain, improved range of motion, better posture, reduced emotional symptoms, and improved quality of life.
